Parthenon
Parthenon
low density polyethylene, tubes get fabricated here to resemble the Parthenon. The 1972 Ford F 100 rear axle gets jacked up in position, the left rear wheel comes off and gets replaced with a specific fabricated squirrel cage fan. Once the main housing gets bolted in place and the spinning hub gets lug nutted into position the plastic structure gets splayed over the truck like a body carcass. At This point the fan can get hooked up to the structure. I proceed by getting into the truck, starting it, putting it into drive and floor it. The speed of the vehicle inflates the carcass structure into the shape of the Parthenon. Ancient material connecting to contemporary material design... longevity directly connects to the systems at which is behind their existence.
